Bigo Futsal Tournament 2017

Last month on 22nd of October 2017, I got myself involved in a sporting event organized by one of my good Bigo brother Ryzo San. He organized a futsal tournament for Bigoers. The event took him 2 challenging months to plan and manage the event together with his committee members. Basically I was involved on video taking and editing. To be honest this is my first time to record a sporting event and gears I am using basically my Oppo smartphone, action camera and camcorder.

As this is my first time to shoot a video for a sporting event and I must admit it is very challenging. In fact to edit the video took me almost a month to complete. Now it is time for me to share my artwork which you can find it via YouTube. I have also embed the video via my blog.

After produce and edit this film, I feel certain satisfaction which indescribable. Now I am looking forward to produce and direct more film. Anyway I hope I could get some support from you guys by subscribing to my YouTube Channel so that I can share more of my artwork with you guys. Please do share my films and my channel to your family and friends. Appreciate a lot for your help to grow my channel.

Anyway on behalf my Bigo brother Ryzo San, I would like to express our gratitude to the following sponsors cause without them this Bigo Futsal Tournament 2017 won’t be a success.

Halloween Night Walk part 1

Last Saturday on 28th of October 2017, Bigo X Familia organized Halloween Night Walk. This event we open to all Bigoers to join us for a night walk from City Hall to Boat Quay. The walk was led by our mystery host. The turnout was 35 people in total including the kids.  Most of my familia members dress up on that day and we have other Bigoers who join us also dress up on that day. We took lots of photos on that day among us and also with members of public.

To all Bigoers who actually joined us last Saturday, here are some photos that are taken from my OPPO R11. There will be more photos be released out once our good brother Andy Montague has come back from his reservist as the remaining photos are found in his DSLR. Sorry to keep you guys waiting. I will keep you guys posted on the part 2 via this blog. Anyway do like our Bigo X Familia Fan Page too.

Korang Faham Eh

In the world of social media and internet, live features on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and many others have caught user attention. I came across an app, Bigo Live that allow the user to live stream and chat. This app has been around for 1 year already. I have download this app few months after it was launch in App Store and Play Store but have not been using it. Late last year 2016 I started actively using Bigo.

It is not that difficult to use Bigo as it is pretty straight forward to navigate. However I am not blogging about how to use Bigo instead I am promoting on the short film I make with some of the Bigo community/user. I was inspired to make this film after I notice there a common lingo and terms being used or created by the Bigo community. Therefore I title this short film “Korang Faham Eh…” and it can be found on YouTube. Please like the video and subscribe to my channel.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my highest gratitude to all those who are involved in making this short film a success. Thank you to my main cast Farhan. Thank you to my supporting crews Aidil, Linda and TrishQ. Lastly thank you to my special guest appearance CallMeBoss. Looking forward to work with you guys again in my next short film and project.

Mandurah Tour

During my holiday in Perth, Western Australia I had a chance to tour around Mandurah. The tour is very special to me because I am touring around Mandurah via small boat. On top of that I had the opportunity to steer the boat for the first time. The place which I tour around on boat is a residential area. When I tour around the place reminds me of Sentosa Cove in Singapore. During my tour around Mandurah, I managed to took some pictures and videos. I have compile it into a music video alike. Here is the link to the video.

Building Water Station

This is a slum area in Philippines. The location is at Tondo, Manila.

From the beginning of 2017 I started busy over something. Busy in making life meaningful not for me but for others who in need most. The thing that make me busy is I am running a campaign for a social cause which is building a water station to provide clean water for the Filipino community in the Philippines. I have this idea since 2013 but the idea came into planning when I was on holiday in Philippines with my big brother and his wife and his son last September 2016 even though I been to Philippines many times.

I remembered the first time I travelled to the Philippines, many of my friends, including the locals of the Philippines, advised me not to drink water from the tap because I might suffer from diarrhoea as the water may be contaminated even after it was treated. Therefore the advice is to boil the water or buy bottled drinks. During my holidays in the Philippines, I can see lots of stocks and supplies of water in the supermarket. For me personally, I can afford to buy bottled drinks from the supermarket but for many locals it is a luxury to buy one especially for those in the poverty.

These are the kids from the slum area in the Philippines.

I was thinking to myself if there anything that can be done? Therefore I start to do some research through online and talked to my local Filipino friends who told me that even when there are existing water refilling stations, the vendors tend to take advantage by overcharging. Then I also found something serious whereby an online article publish in 2015 says that ‘A lack of clean water and sanitation in the Philippines kills 55 people every day’ .

After been doing some research online annd by talking to the local of Philippines, I finally know what I need to do. I decided to build a water station that provide clean water to the poor Filipino community for free. Therefore I create a campaign to do fund raising via crowdfunding platform, Indiegogo. I am seeking your support by helping me to share this post to your family and friends and hoping that you could make little contributions to it. Your help through contributions and promoting means a lot to me who managing it and to those who will benefit from this project. Below is the link to the campaign.

Thank you for supporting this campaign
